Did you know that we have a really awesome opportunity to serve our hosting school? During the week of spring break we have a wonderful service project lined up to give back to our hosting school (Sycamore Valley Elementary School), you know that’s the place we meet every Tuesday. It would be great to give back to the school by helping on this project to repaint the US Map at the blacktop. We do not always have this chance therefore I would like to have EVERY available scout to PLEASE participate in this important service project! If you are not going out of town during spring break, please consider helping! Adult support is also appreciated.

Participating scouts will…

  • Serve our school!
  • Help beautify our community!
  • Earn service hours!
  • Get a pizza lunch!
  • Get to better know your fellow scouts, if you are new this is a great opportunity to get know your troop in a fun environment!
  • Have fun and easy painting a US Map, it really is a good time!
  • Most of All, it’s a guaranteed good time!

Please know that scouts do not need to serve for the entire day, any time you can provide would be awesome and appreciated.

Permission slips are due 26-March, but please don’t wait, we still need an OSPL for this outing so if you plan on being a part of this project please turn in your permission slips soon.

Contact Mr Ghatta (510-505-7070) if you have questions.
