Feature Changes

  • (+) Role-based access instead of password-based
  • (+) Offline access on mobile devices with delta sync
  • (-) Export Data feature (File > Export > ASCII-delimited) replaced with Custom Reports (Reports > Custom Reports) and is limited to only 6 columns

Exporting Data & Archives

  • On TM Dot Net, go to File > Preferences > Hidden Fields tab
  • Make sure all hidden fields are unselected. Otherwise, those fields will not be exported.

Duplicates in Eagle Honor Roll Report

Symptoms

  • On TM Web, select Reports > Advancement > Eagle Honor Roll > Generate Report
  • Notice some scouts are listed twice

Reasons

  • On TM DotNet, Eagle Honor Roll report is generated from the Eagle Honor Roll table and Active data.
  • On TM Web, the Eagle Honor Roll table is replaced with Past Members (Unit > Past Members) table and the report is generated from Past Members, Active data, and Archived data.
  • Entries in the Eagle Honor Roll table do not link to scout records in Archives, and TM cannot merge the information during export/import.

Fix

  • 2017.03.23: TM added a feature to remove the duplicates on the Past Members page
  • After migration, on TM Web, crosscheck Past Members with Archives and remove duplicate scouts from Past Members.
