Sacramento Capitol Tour

Date: January 13th, 2018 (Saturday)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Meet: 8:00am @ Sycamore Valley Park & Ride
Return: approx. 5:30pm @ Sycamore Valley Park & Ride. Parents will be called prior to arrival at park and ride.
Attire: Class A
Required:
– Online payment of $12 due January 2nd
– Permission slip (on TroopMaster) due January 9th

A train trip to Sacramento to tour the State Capitol and visit historic Old Sacramento! We will travel by train (Amtrak) on Saturday January 13th, returning on the same day.

This trip satisfies requirements 2a (touring the Capitol) and 2b (visiting a Historical Landmark) for the Eagle-required Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge.

Bring a sack lunch, water, rain gear, umbrella and spending money for the candy store (extras).
DO NOT BRING: Pockets knives or weapons (real or toy)

Note: Due to the popularity of this outing, parents and sibling participation may be limited. Once we have final numbers, we will determine how many can participate.
