Uniform
Troop 805 adheres to the National Boy Scout policy of requiring the complete official Field Uniform (Class A) be worn at all Troop regular meetings. See below for full Class A details (click on graphic to enlarge):
- BSA tan shirt (short or long sleeve)

- At a minimum, the shirt should have the American flag patch on the right sleeve, the Council patch and Troop number on the left sleeve, the World Crest above the left pocket and green epaulets.

- Additional patches that may be added to the shirt include:

- Rank patch, centered on the left pocket,

- Arrow of Light patch (if earned), below the left pocket,

- Patrol patch, on the right sleeve below the flag,

- Journey to Excellence patch, on the right sleeve below the Patrol Patch,

- Leadership role patch, on the left sleeve below the Troop number,

- Trained Strip, on the left sleeve below the Leadership role patch,

- Recruiter Strip, below the right pocket,

- The Order of the Arrow lodge patch (if elected and passed the ordeal), on the right pocket flap,

- Interpreter Strip above the right pocket (above the BSA logo)

- Jamboree insignia above any and all interpreter strip(s) above the right pocket

- An optional Temporary Insignia centered on the right pocket, such as the Totin’ Chip, Firem’n Chit, or a patch from summer camp.

- BSA olive-colored long pants or shorts.
- BSA olive-colored web belt.
- BSA olive-colored socks.
- Troop 805 neckerchief and slide (provided by the Troop).
Troop 805 does not have an official hat. The Troop does have a Troop T-shirt for use as part of an Activity Uniform (Class B). All new scouts will get a Troop Class B shirt once they join the Troop. Class A Uniforms may be obtained at the Pleasant Hill Scout Shop, the Pleasanton Scout Shop, the Alameda Scout Shop, or the Fairfield Scout Shop.
The Troop also has a Troop Marketplace , which provides a way for Scout families to donate out-grown uniforms or other equipment to younger scout families.
