Camping & Fishing @ George Ranch

Date: March 9-10, 2018 (Fri-Sat)
Location: George Ranch, 3163 Morrison Canyon Rd, Fremont
Meet: 
– Friday 4pm @ George Ranch to camp overnight, OR
– Saturday by 9am @ George Ranch for fishing only
Pickup: Saturday 4pm @ George Ranch
Pre-requisites: Scout rank and/or 2nd year Scouts and above
Attire: Class A upon arrival and departure; Class B for other activities
Cost: $15 online payment, includes 2 meals @ $5 per meal for each Scout
Required: Registration on TroopMaster and permission slip due March 6
Bring:
– Your own fishing gear, or loan one from Mr Benveniste
– 10 essentials and foul weather gears
– Sack dinner for Friday night. All other meals are patrol planned and executed.

Troop Apparel Order


Dear Troop 805 Families,

Do your class-B shirt(s) fit? Would you like a Troop 805 jacket? It’s time for our annual apparel order again!

If you want to order a troop jacket or shirt, please print the Apparel Order Form and complete page 2 of the order form. Staple your check made out to “Troop 805”. Submit your order and payment by Tuesday, January 30 at the Troop Meeting. If you miss the deadline, you must wait another year; we do not keep extra inventory on hand.

I will bring sample jackets and shirts on January 9 and 23 for you to check sizing.

Angel Island Tour & Hike

Date: February 24, 2018 (Saturday)
Location: Angel Island
Meet: Sycamore Valley Park and Ride. Leaving 8:00 a.m. SHARP!
Return: Approximately 6:00 p.m. depending on traffic. Scouts will be driven home.
Cost: $48 per participant. Includes transportation, park entrance fee, guided tour, pastry and ice cream.
Attire: Class B
Detail: Scouts should have a day pack with at least 2 liters of water and bag lunch. Event limited to first 5 driving adults and 20 scouts.
Required: Permission slip due Feb 13th, 2018

K1 Speed Go Karting

Dates: Saturday, December 2, 2017
Meet: 9am @ K1 Speed Go Kart Track, 6400 Sierra Ct Suite B, Dublin (map)
Pickup: 12:30pm @ K1 Speed
Attire: Class B and closed-toe shoes
Required by 11/21/2017:
K1 Speed waiver form
Permission slip
– $65 includes Traffic Safety MB fee and 3 go kart races on the track
Notes: Food will not be served at this event. Please eat a big breakfast before you arrive.

Scouting For Food

Dates:
– November 4 (Saturday) – 9am – 11am – Drop off Door HangersSFF2016
– November 11 (Saturday) – 9am – 11am – Pick up Food Donations
Meet: 190 Woodranch Circle, Danville, CA (Woodranch Club House)
Return: Scouts will be dropped off at home about one-half hour after the event
Cost: 
$0 (no charge)
Attire: Class A, good walking shoes
Bring: Water
Required: Signed Permission slip turned in by 10/31/2017
Optional: Online registration: door hanger distribution or donation collection
