– 0645 Distribute trash receptacles along parade route
– 0900 Carry banners in the 4th of July parade (awesome photo opportunities)
– 1100 After completion of parade, help remove trash receptacles along parade route.
Meet: Dependent on activity – Instructions will be provided via email
Return: Dependent on activity – Instructions will be provided via email
Cost: Free! Includes hot breakfast and/or lunch!
Attire: Full Class A
Required: Permission slip due June 21st

California Caverns Spelunking

Return: Sunday, June 12, ~1PM @ Sycamore Park & Ride
Cost:
– Option 1 – Mammoth Caves Expedition – $130 for scouts or adults
– Option 2 – Trail of Lights – $60 for scouts or adults
Attire:
– Class A for trip to and from California Caverns
– Class B for Trail of Lights
– Old clothes for Mammoth Caves Expedition
Bring:
– Bag lunch for Saturday
– Sports bag instead of backpack
10 essentials and camping gears

Donner Camping & Fishing

Location: Donner Lake, Truckee California
Meet: Friday, July 22, 9:30AM @ Sycamore Park & Ride
Return: Sunday, July 24, approx 5-6PM @ Sycamore Park & Ride
Uniform: Class A for travel
Cost: $89
Bring:
– Friday bag lunch
– $10 for Sunday lunch @ Ikedas
– 10 essentials, layered clothing for cold mornings & warm afternoons
– Fishing pole, casting reel, and bait of choice
– 2-day fishing license for age 16 and above

Danville Half Marathon Service

Meet & Pickup: Intersection of Iron Horse Trail and Del Amigo Road in Danville
Cost: Free
Attire: Class A
Required: Permission slip due May 24th

All Scouts are encouraged to help out on this year’s 6th Annual Danville Half Marathon Run – benefiting the scouting program. Troop 805 will volunteer to manage the “Aid Station” on the intersection of Iron Horse Trail and Del Amigo Road. We will have tables with refreshments for the runners.

We need Adult Volunteers as well to help our scouts and to provide adequate supervision.

Art and Wind Festival Flag Ceremony

Arrival: Plan on arriving at 1:50pm to allow time to park & get to the meeting area
Meet & Pickup: San Ramon Central Park flag pole area.
Chevron Stage (on the grass adjacent to the tennis courts)

Cost: Free
Attire: Full Class A
Required: Permission slip due May 24th
Bring: Be sure to wear sunscreen & bring water.

We are proud to announce that Troop 805 has been specially selected to do the Opening Flag ceremony for the San Ramon Art & Wind Festival this year on Memorial Day, May 30th. All scouts are encouraged to attend!

Participating Scouts will earn service time hours. An outdoor flag ceremony also fills a second-class advancement requirement!

Scouts and families are welcome to enjoy the Art & Wind festival beforehand & afterwards! This family-friendly festival features professional kite flying demonstrations, arts & crafts booths, entertainment on 3 stages, food booths by local non-profits and more! The festival is from 10am to 5pm.
