Bring: Sack lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, merit badge worksheets, camp map, scout book, pencil
Required:
– Send top 4 Merit badge choices in order of preference to Mrs. Quatman by July 23th
– Online payment due July 30th
– Permission slip
– Check requirements to be completed prior to arriving at camp (click on blue arrow under the MB on this page)
Advance Camp is a one day activity focused on Merit Badges and/or rank advancement. Scouts will have a full day of fun and learning. There are over 60 Merit Badges to select from. Each scout can select up to two Merit Badges or work on partials (Merit Badges that were started but not completed), or Trailhead (advancement to First Class).

This year’s one day Advance Camp will be offering the opportunity to work on 2 out of over 60 different Merit Badge choices. This is a huge one day event where over 2,000 scouts gather to explore new interests, start merit badges, finish merit badges, or complete previous partials. There will be two sessions – one morning, one afternoon.

Leave: 6:30 am from Sycamore Park and Ride
Return: 6 pm to Sycamore Park and Ride
Cost: $34 (some Merit Badges have additional fees)
Attire: Class A
Required: Permission slip due July 5th
Bring: Bagged lunch, water bottles, hat, sunscreen, and any specific worksheet needed for the Merit Badges

WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS! Last year’s Advance Camp required the help of 150 merit badge counselors plus over 200 additional volunteers. Please save the date on your schedule. We will need many drivers and Advance Camp will need volunteers. All volunteers get a free shirt and free lunch.

How to Sign Up:
- Scouts must check out this list of 60 merit badges and choose 2 they would like to work on plus 2 back-up choices.

Update 08/01: Price drop from $37 to $27!!! Added FAQ.
Update 07/28: Please bring Permission slips to tomorrow’s PLC along with payment. We are suppose to sign up as a troop. The faster I can get what MB classes your scouts want, the sooner I can register our entire troop.
IMPORTANT: Deadline is August 5th… Please ignore the permission slip deadline… I am moving the deadline to August 5th so that we can get into the courses… I apologize for the rush…

Bring: Daypack, water bottles, sunscreen, merit badge worksheets
Required: Permission slip due August 5th
Advance Camp is a one day activity focused on Merit Badges. Scouts will have a full day of fun and learning. There are over 50 Merit Badges to select from. Each scout can select TWO Merit Badges to work on. In addition, if scouts have partials (these are Merit Badges that were started but not completed) they can bring them to Advance Camp and work on them.
